To our dear husband, father, grandfather, and friend, your absence has left a big vacuum in our lives. You only departed this world on May 11 and we are already feeling your absence around us.
You are now at peace with the Lord. We love you and will continue to remember the good memories we had together.
He loves you most, hence he called you to his heavenly home. We believe that we shall meet again in heaven.
"For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life." John 3:16.
Your full name is Nnamdi Felix Ojimba. You would have turned 70 on the 25th June 2020, but God said that you will celebrate your 70th birthday in the house of our heavenly father. You were a man of good faith and a member of the Catholic Prayer Ministry of Elele. You were a Eucharistic Minister in our Parish at St. Jude's Catholic Church in Hackney many years ago and also a member of the Knights of St. Columba.
You originated from the Ojimba family in Osumenyi in Nnewi Local Government South, Anambra State. You left behind your wife; Esther Ojimba, your three children; Ifeoma Nembhardt (Nee Ojimba), Emeka Ojimba, Ngozi Ojimba, three lovely grandchildren; Anaiah, Zion and Ezra Nembhardt, your son-in-law, Jerome Nembhardt, three siblings back in Nigeria; Anthony, Theresa and Christopher, and the extended family members from the siblings in Nigeria.
God knows the best for you, we love you, but He loves you more. We hope to meet again soon. Adieu and rest in perfect peace.
On Wednesday 24 June, 2020, we gathered online to celebrate the life of Nnamdi in a blessed Service of Songs event, led by the Ojimba and Nembhardt family with Fr. Albert leading us in prayer, and many beautiful contributions from many of Nnamdi's beloved family and friends in attendance. Thank you once again to all who could make it and we are very sorry to have missed those that could not attend. May God Bless you all in abundance!
